Night 1 - Keeley's birthday night out;
As I have mentioned, it was one of the teams birthdays so it was only fair that we made the first night a KILLER one! We all dressed up, me as white as a ghost with my glorious British tan (ew.) and a pair of sandals due to the heat, we were ready!
We grabbed a few cocktails at the bar, even though we had been drinking them all day... we're on holiday, who cares! We arrived down in the lobby area and were welcomed into chaos. Where did all of these people come from?! The hotel was packed full of vibrant characters and dancing girls. The bar staff were hilarious. Shots, drinks, shots and more shots.
Off we went, all the way to the bar across the street. We thought it might be a good idea to grab some more "pre-drinks" as we would in England. We were soon accompanied by a group of lads from the hotel and we made sure there were plenty of shots to pass around before we hit the bigger town!
The bar man was adorable, He welcomed us each night we went to the club. He made the most amazing shot... it doesn't look like much in the photos but it was the best drink I've ever tasted. I'm not exactly a huge fan of Vodka, but this guy changed my aspect a whole lot!

Finally, we were on our way to the strip. Young persons running the streets, a few too many and some were on the floor. As the week went on we soon began to become amune to the drunken states of which we would see on occurance. People throwing up or simply taking a peaceful nap outside of a club on the curb... as you do.
The nightlife was amazing. From bar to bar, cheap drinks and girls were aloud in for free. Unlucky lads! Dancing on the bar, awesome music, everybody's drunk and lively and the whole night is alive! It's crazy how easily you can make friends!!
The clubs were better than England. The people were all out to have a good time, we all had the same aspect of our holidays. We were highly drunk, smiling from ear to ear and singing along to our favourite songs very terribly in chorus with the whole strip, I love ZANTE.
As it was Keeley's birthday, extra drinks and fish bowls and shots were given to us. We went to one bar called "Fish Bowl" and were given the biggest damn fish bowl I ever did see... me, being me, picked up as many straws as I could and got everybody in the group involved. The bowl was not being left until it was no more.
We had one thought after this night. Roll on the rest of the 6 days... check out my other blogs about Zante, you're in for a treat with the Private Island White Party, Pool Party at Pure and Rum and Ray Bans...
